As a member of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I was asked to share how I use Kraft Singles in my cooking.
One of my quick “go to” meals is an egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich. I make them for my family any time of the day when we’re on the run and need something in less than 30 minutes. I fry 1 or 2 eggs per person, top it with a slice of Kraft Single American cheese, and let it melt on top. I heat up some refrigerated, cooked bacon in the microwave, toast an English muffin, and put this sandwich together in no time! Good stuff!
Everything tastes better with melted cheese!
Another recipe that I make from time to time is a hot ham and cheese braided sandwich.
I unroll half of the crescent rolls from one package, top it with deli ham and one slice of Kraft Singles American cheese.
I cut the crescent rolls into strips like so, and braid as shown.
I brush it with an egg wash (1 scrambled egg), sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and bake at 375º F for 15-20 minutes until the dough is browned and cooked through.
And of course, we’ve been topping our burgers (forever) with Kraft Singles!
Oh, and I can’t forget all of the grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve made over the years using Kraft Singles. I always paired them with a yummy bowl of tomato soup! Ummm! I love that combination!
