THIS GIVEAWAY IS OVER!

Wow! CHEFS Catalog really hooked me up with a great product to review and giveaway!  What do you think of this NEW Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender?  What a great combination! You can cook and blend your food all in one place!

Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender

Product Description

The innovative Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender sautes, simmers and boils soup ingredients, and when it’s done cooking, it blends the soup to a smooth desired consistency with a touch of a button!  The powerful 900-watt soup maker also whips up amazing smoothies, frozen cocktails, sauces and desserts. The Thermal shock-resistant glass, wide-mouth blender jar holds up to 48 oz. of hot liquids and 56 oz. of cold liquids. You’ll save time with the ability to blend and cook, crush ice and chop fresh herbs and spices in this all-around Cuisinart soup maker that doubles as a workhorse blender. Simply saute garlic, onions and herbs on the jar’s nonstick heating plate, add liquid and other favorite soup ingredients before you blend and keep the soup at the perfect serving temperature. Or, combine ice and iced drink fixings and select from four blending speeds, plus it has a pulse and handy stir button. The tight-fit press-on lid offers a removable 3-oz. measuring cup for adding ingredients at any time. For fast and simple cleanup, just add water, a drop of dishwasher liquid and blend, or place on top rack of the dishwasher.

We were in the mood for some Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, so I used my Tomato Soup recipe to test out my new Soup Maker!

I cooked the soup for 30 minutes on medium and it came out great!  I love that you can press the stir button whenever you want while it’s cooking!

Delish!

Over the weekend, I cooked a butternut squash (cubed) with 1 cup of water for about 25 minutes on HIGH.  I drained it and blended it for 5 – 10 seconds and it was done!

To clean the blender, just add some warm water and a drop of dish detergent to the blender, pulse several times, and rinse carefully so the heating element doesn’t get wet.  It also comes with a little scrub brush.

The Cuisinart Instruction Manual is helpful and comes with 14 drink/smoothie recipes, 8 breakfast/brunch recipes, 2 starters, 16 soup recipes, 8 dressing and sauce recipes, and 8 dessert recipes.

This Soup Maker is going to get used a lot during the cold winter months in my house!  I think it’ll come in handy when I have company as well.  On Thanksgiving, I can cook and blend my butternut squash or turnip in my Soup Maker/Blender when I’m busy cooking other dishes on my stove!

If I won the Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender, I would you love to make soups, gravy and smoothies in it. I have celiacs and must follow a strict gluten free diet as well as egg allergy, so I make all my soups, gravies, mixes and smoothies from scratch. This soup maker/blender would save me time while still giving me great quality soups and sauces making eating gluten and egg free all that more fun and healthy with nothing but fresh ingredients. I look forward to using this daily if I win it!!! Thank you for the opportunity.
