King Arthur Baking Mix Giveaway!

I bought King Arthur flour long before I discovered their website and catalog. When I got my first catalog in the mail, I went on a bread-making kick for a while! I bought their Italian Loaf Pan and had a grand ol’ time making fresh bread on the weekends. Ahh! Just thinking of the smell of yeast makes me smile.

Have you ever been to King Arthur’s Baker’s Store & Cafe in Norwich, VT? After viewing this video, it is now on my list of ”Places to Visit” next summer! I’m hoping to take one of their baking classes while I’m there!

King Arthur is giving away these baking mixes to one of my readers and I had a chance to test them out in my kitchen! For each of the mixes, I just had to add a few ingredients as directed on the back of the box.

The Golden Brioche Bread is sweet and delicious! My bread didn’t rise as high as the one on the box, but the flavor and texture were great.

I made Pumpkin Bread instead of Muffins with this mix. Dave and I enjoyed it! It’s moist and makes a nice size bread.

For a quick weeknight meal, I made the Classic Pizza Crust and used store-bought pizza sauce, pizza cheese, and pepperoni. After I rolled out the dough, I let it rise for 30 minutes before adding the toppings. It produced a thick, hearty pizza. For a thinner crust, you just need to bake it right away. Great flavor!

I love king arthur flour – after using the famous flour we’ve known for years (that starts with “p”) I became disillusioned. Sadly it sat on the grocery shelves until it was useless. KAF offers fresh ingredients and quickly.

I love King Arthur!! I work about half a mile from their store and love sooo many things. But one of our favorites is their macaroon mix — they still don’t taste like the ones from the KA bakery, but they’re pretty darn good

I always buy King Arthur flour in my grocery but I also order their specialty flours as well as the cinnamon sugar mix. Makes great cinnamon syrup for cinnamon rolls. I have never tried the mixes but would definately love to try them.

I adore King Arthur. I have been to the store. One time many years ago. I bought the square biscuit cutters and a few other things that time. My 2 favorite things I get from them is the SAF Yeast (Red Package) and the Italian Bread Pan. I also have their English Muffin Rings and a few other things.

There is nothing superior to the King Arthur Flour. I will drive all over the town looking for it if my local store is out of it. Their flavorings are so good also, strong, aromatic, and if you don’t want to bake with them then you can just open up the bottle and inhale the fragrance.

I use their whole wheat white flour, unbleached bread flour, whole wheat flour, sheet pan size parchment, 8 inch round parchment, short square parchment, sprinkles, cinnamon, vanilla, vanilla powder, vanilla sugar… and on and on. LOVE KAF! That’s all I use in my kitchen. And, their customer service can’t be beat.
