Hey there! After a crazy snowy weekend, I’m glad to be posting my weekly Blog Hop! As some of you may have heard on Facebook, we got a surprising 22 inches of snow over the weekend! I thought for sure that we’d lose power, but we lucked out, unlike many MA residents. Due to the downed tree limbs and power outages, we have no school on Monday. I’m used to this much snow, but never in October! This will be one year that the little Trick-or-Treaters can’t run across my front lawn! Check out my pictures!

This is what the railings looked like on the deck when we woke up Sunday morning!
Yup! I had to push the snow out of the way to open the door.
It took half of the day to snow blow. Can you see the colored leaves in the neighborhood? I can’t remember having colored leaves on the trees with this much snow! It’s so weird!
Isn’t this crazy?!
Luckily, there’s no snow in the forecast! Were you affected by the snow this weekend?

HI!!! We didn’t get the snow that was expected in RI, thank God! Some areas of CT and MA are postponing Halloween until Thursday because there will be no street lights and the roads will be difficult to walk with all the snow!

That happened to us 20 years ago – the great Halloween blizzard of 1991. Although that’s a LOT of snow — it sure is pretty against the fall colors.
