Party Kielbasa

Here is my “go to” recipe that we enjoy for football games, get-togethers, and holidays.  Many years ago, my sister Michele brought this to a family gathering and it has been a favorite ever since.  You can find this recipe in my cookbook.

I use Lite Polska Kielbasa to save on fat and calories, but you can take your pick from the many different varieties of kielbasa.  If you make this for a big party, double the recipe.  I bake it and then transfer it to my crock pot (on the buffet setting) to keep it warm at a party.

I like this recipe because it freezes well (uncooked).  Simply mix all of the ingredients in a gallon-size freezer bag, remove as much air as possible, seal, and label with directions.

MMMMMM! This sounds – and looks – wonderful! My hubby doesn’t care for the BBQ taste, but my kids would love this as well. So glad you shared – would definitely be a hit to enjoy during the big game! Enjoy a Super weekend Friend!

I have never eaten nor seen kielbasa but do know approximately what it is in general. Would you kindly advise IF the kielbasa is baked whole with the sauce in and around it? OR slits cut into it? OR sliced in advance of baking. I imagine that this would work well with a salami also. Thank you.
