During the summer I like to make recipes that are not only delicious, but quick and easy too! My taco dip has been a family favorite for a long time so I decided to share it at the new Food Lion Recipe Portal, and I must say it was quite easy!
As you can see the new layout is easy to read and understand. All I did was name my recipe, upload an image, add the ingredients, directions and tagged what categories the recipe fell into. You get to see it in a preview and if you’re happy, you submit! It takes a day or two to get approved and then you’re good to go. Not only do you get to share your recipes with others, you get to browse through quite an assortment too. You can search by occasion, meals, regional, lifestyle, ingredients, even cooking style.
Let’s take a look at my taco dip that I submitted. You start out with equal amounts of sour cream and cream cheese which you mix with a pack of taco seasoning. Spread it onto a platter then top with your favorite taco toppings.
I like to do shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and onions, but you can do whatever you like. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy! For the full recipe stop over to the new Food Lion Recipe Portal, check it out, and submit a recipe of your own.
