This beautiful cookbook is divided into the following chapters:  Crusts, Appetizers, Main Course Pies-Meats and Seafood, Main Couse Pies-Vegetarian, and Hand Pies.  You’re sure to please everyone in the family with the variety of pies in this cookbook!

Here is a sample of what you’ll find.

(on the cover)

Arugula, Black Olive, and Sun-Dried Tomato Calzone

Artichoke Clafouti

(on the cover)

Jerk-Spiced Meat Patties with Mango Habanero Hot Sauce

BBQ Chicken Empanadas with Cilantro Chimichurri

Mushroom, Goat Cheese, and Mint Hand Pies

Irish Breakfast Pie

Salmon Loaf en Croûte

I tried the Classic Chicken Pot Pies on page 56!

I made 4 small pies using these aluminum pie plates.  We ate two and froze 2 of them.  The flavor was excellent and the pie crust was super flaky.

I would love to win this cookbook. Although i know of many and probably innumerable types of sweet pies and then empanadas, I never realized that there were many savory pies that could be made and enjoyed. This book would be a blessing to expand on meals for my family as well as for visitors who join our family for dinner. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

I just recently heard of empanadas. I have made them twice. Would love to see the recipe in this book. Savory pies is something I have never tried except the empanadas. My husband would like them I am sure.

I’d love to make every recipe you have pictured above, but especially the chicken pot pie.The idea of eating one the day you make it and having one to freeze for later sounds great.

I have done lots of searches for savory pie recipes and haven’t found many we like. This book might be a cure for that. Wonderful pictures to boot.

This looks amazing! I recently conquered piecrust and can now manage a yummy flaky crust the majority of the time. I’m so proud of myself that I want to make tons of pies, but everyone’s getting sick of the same old. I need to have some pity on them and find some new recipes…
